Herbert the Chicken and the Great Waffle Adventure began many years ago with four simple words from my young daughter: “Daddy, tell me a story.“
So I made up a story about a chicken named Herbert that was tired of eating seeds and wanted to eat waffles instead. This simple little story has grown into a beautifully illustrated picture book filled with friendship, laughter, and adventure.
Join Herbert and Morgan, the farmer’s daughter, as they go on an adventure-filled quest in the farmhouse kitchen to find Herbert a waffle. A funny, feel good story that children and families will treasure for years to come.
