Definitions of Golf – Golf Cart Card

Golf Greeting Cards

I’ve been selling 2 golf-related greeting cards in my Etsy shop for quite some time. They both feature a watercolor painting of the head of a driver sitting on the grass behind a golf ball, sitting on a tee. Both cards have had steady sales since I listed them. So I thought I would expand my offering of golf cards. Here is the first one.

Inside the card it reads, “an unlimited supply of Mulligans!”

My New Line of Golf Greeting Cards

The idea behind this new collection of greeting cards, which I call “Definitions of Golf”, is to take golf-related terms and add a humorous twist to the definition. The first card in my new collection – Golf Cart –  is pictured here.

What is a Golf Cart?

Pretty much anyone who golfs knows what a golf cart is. The definition of a golf cart is displayed on the front of the card, along with an original watercolor and ink painting of a golf cart. At the top it says, “a small, motorized vehicle for transporting golfers and their equipment around a golf course.”

At the bottom it says, “if we change the definition to fit your style of play…”

On the inside it says, “a golf cart is a 4-wheeled cooler used for beer transport on a golf course”. If you are a golfer, I know you can relate. Heck, this may be the reason you use a cart when you golf!

Any way, if you like the card and know a golfer who would appreciate it, it is available for purchase in my Etsy shop, or you can buy it right here on my website. If you don’t like it, that’s ok too.

More Cards on the Way

I have plans to design several more cards using these golf terms: divot, snowman, fore, and gimme. Depending on how they are received, there may be more. If you’re not sure what these terms mean, stay tuned. I’ll create additional posts as these cards are completed. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
