Unique Coffee Mugs of Your Town
Share the unique story of your town with our personalized coffee mugs. You provide the images (and/or ideas), and we will paint them in watercolor. The paintings will be arranged in a collage and professionally printed on solid white, 15 oz. coffee mugs.
Selling these mugs will give your customers a lasting memory of your town, and also add to your bottom line!
Here’s how it works:
- Identify the images you would like to appear on your mugs
- Approve the final design
- Start selling your custom mugs!
Email Us the Images
What makes your town unique? Are there famous buildings or landmarks? Parks, statues, or unique annual events? The only limitation is your imagination. Choose up to 15 images that you would like to appear on your mugs.
We suggest that you include the following images in your design: the name of your town, an outline of your state, and of course your storefront or logo (or both!). Other things you may want to include are your county and zip code. Please note that these will count towards your total number of images.
If you have a favorite pizza shop or ice cream store in your town, let us know and we’ll add the slice of pizza or ice cream cone image shown here. If you’re not sure what images to use, we are happy to help you select images from your town.
Keep Them Guessing
If you look at the collage image on this page, you may wonder why some of the images are included. What can a shark fin possibly have to do with Cedarville, Ohio? Well, there is a lake on the campus of Cedarville University with some really big carp. Occasionally they will approach the surface and their fin will appear out of the water. These fish have become known as “Cedar Sharks”. Your customers will enjoy trying to figure out what the images mean!
Once you select the images, we will paint watercolor versions of those images and build a collage as it would appear on the mugs. Bear in mind that these are watercolor representations, not photos.
A $100, non-refundable deposit is required at this time. Pay Deposit
Approve the Design
When the collage of the painted images is finished, we will email you a copy of it for your approval. Once you are happy with the final design, it’s time to order your mugs.
If you are not happy with the design, you can make up to 3 change requests. We are willing to work with you and want to make sure you are completely satisfied with the design. All change requests must be made within 2 weeks of receiving the initial design.
We will not approach other businesses in your town with this idea once you decide to work with us. You will be the only seller of our custom coffee mugs in your town.
Start Selling Mugs!
Before you can start selling these awesome mugs, you have a decision to make. You can either purchase coffee mugs directly from us, or you can purchase only the collage image and use it any way you wish – mugs, t-shirts, stickers, magnets, etc.
Purchase the Image
Choose this option and you will be buying just the image. You will be responsible for setting up the project with the printing company and ordering the mugs. We currently order our mugs from VistaPrint, but you can choose any company you like. (We have no affiliation with VistaPrint but are happy with the quality and price they offer).
- By purchasing the image, you will have exclusive rights to use the image any way you wish (mugs, t-shirts, stickers, magnets, etc.). Please note that Church Street Cookies in Cedarville, Ohio may sell a limited number of coffee mugs utilizing your collage image.
- Once you select a print company, let us know the format of the image that you need.
- The cost to purchase the collage image is a one-time fee of $500.00. Sell the mugs for $20 each, and you will pay for the image with your first case!
Purchase Mugs
Choose this option and pay only for mugs. We will retain the rights to the image.
- We will order your mugs and have them shipped directly to you.
- The minimum order is one case of 36 mugs. Additional cases can be ordered. No partial cases are permitted.
- Your cost is $12.00 per mug. One case of 36 mugs is $432.00. If you sell the mugs for $20.00 each, your profit on 36 mugs will be $288.00. We recommend pricing your mugs between $20 and $25.
