I love Christmas! And I love painting. So I decided to combine the two, put paint to paper, and create my first set of watercolor greeting cards.
I started the paintings for these cards in August. I have to admit it was a little tough to get in the Christmas spirit when it was 85 degrees and humid outside. To help me focus, I listened to Christmas music as I was painting. It may seem kind of strange to listen to Christmas tunes 5 months before Christmas, but it put me in the holiday mood, and I was able to concentrate on the paintings (and ignore the beautiful summer weather).
Without further adieu, here is my 2020 Christmas card collection.
I enjoyed painting these, and to be honest, listening to Christmas music in August wasn’t all that bad.
The cards mentioned in this post are available for purchase in my Esty shop. The cards are 5″ x 7″ and printed on bright white 60 lb. card stock with a matching envelope.
The 2021 collection will be available (hopefully) by September.
